Swim Meet 101
Things to remember for each swim meet:
- Swimmers should check in with their coach and the tent parent volunteer at the team tent just prior to our warm up time (TBD each meet).
- Parent volunteers should check in with Jeannine Cox by 5:00 in order to be on deck and in position at 5:15.
- Swimmers should wear their team suit and T-shirt. They should have goggles and a swim cap. They should have their event numbers written in Sharpie on their arm to assist the Tent Parents.
- Tent Information: Swimmers should bring a chair, towel, water, money for concessions, and any snacks they prefer to bring from home. Each swimmer is responsible to clean up after themselves, and our team must leave our tent area clean at the end of the meet. Please remember to stay close to the tent to hear your name called.
- Clerk of Course staging area: No parents are allowed in the benches area at any time. Your swimmer is in good hands and allows clerk of course to stay organized.
- Our weekly meets will begin at 5:30pm. SAIL and pool guidelines regarding weather will be observed. Stay tuned to email, Remind, and Instagram for announcements regarding weather delays and cancellations.
- No cameras (including cell phone cameras) or other recording devices are allowed behind the blocks at any time (SAIL; USA Swimming; Safe Sport rules)
